Family: A Different Way to Be Together

“Fogo Island is a place you can’t believe, but always hoped existed.”
Alan Doyle, Musician and Actor

Time and tide. Tickles, coves, and bights. Barnacles, bonfires, and ocean snores. Spend endless summer days exploring different ways to be and be together on Fogo Island, when cool breezes and wildflowers blanketing the landscape provide the ultimate backdrop for family fun and adventure. Fogo Island summers find kids being kids: clambering over bajillion-year-old volcanic rocks, wading into the shallows to seek washed-ashore treasures, or camping out on the steps of Growlers Ice Cream for a second cone of the day. Hike and picnic along the coast, as seabirds and whales are spotted out at sea, and boats scoot in and out of harbours—Fogo Island is an outport oasis just waiting to be explored by travelers both big and small.

The Family: A Different Way to Be Together itinerary may include family-sized suites for up to four or five people. Children 12 and under stay for free. It is organized around you and no generation is left out.
