Easter at Fogo Island Inn

Spring Season is around the corner, and with it the promise of renewal and change. It is time to pull off your snow boots and replace them with hiking boots; to head outdoors in pursuit of the first signs of thaw.

Amidst the excitement of a bountiful Spring ahead, is the Easter holiday: a time to connect with family and friends, and to celebrate the season.

Easter on Fogo Island is observed in its many communities, from Tilting, to Fogo, to Seldom-come-by and all those inbetween. A variety of outport tranditions are shared including Easter egg hunts, traditional cooked Dinners (lunches) with loved ones, and special Easter treats such as spiced, sweet Hot Cross Buns.

Guests joining us for An Outport Easter will discover the rich 400-year-old history of our Island, its 11 outport communities , the wildlife, people and culture and, special surprises that only the Easter Bunny can dream up.
