September and October make up Berry Season on Fogo Island, Newfoundland. The bounty of the season will be celebrated over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, October 8-11, 2021. A multi-faceted line-up of adventurous programming includes live music, berry picking, invigorating coastal hikes, and a traditional boil-up on the hills. Using the bountiful fruits of the season, guests can choose to learn traditional tart-making techniques or how to bottle jam with a knowledgeable Community Host. Celebrations are capped off with a traditional Canadian Thanksgiving feast in the glass-walled Dining Room overlooking the tempestuous North Atlantic.
