Wild on the Hills

Grab a berry picking hat, get outside, and keep your eyes peeled for wild edibles as you join a resident outdoor guide to forage, pick, and snack along coastal trails or the rugged, hilly interior of Fogo Island. Guests will learn about the culinary applications of the many edible plants that grow wild along the North Atlantic’s shoreline: from recognizable berries to vegetation that may appear almost alien. In the afternoon, a Community Host boil-up is on the menu. Foraged plants and berries appear in cocktails and on the supper plate, capping off evenings spent gathering by the Inn’s bonfire for stargazing, stories, and songs.
