Art Gallery

The Fogo Island Gallery exists as a white cube within the Inn, encouraging guests to look inwards and engage with contemporary works informed by the specificities of place.

Exhibitions at the Fogo Island Gallery feature new work by artists and curators who have participated in the Fogo Island Arts international residency program. 

Fogo Island Arts (FIA) is the founding program of Shorefast. Established in 2008 as an international artist residency program, Fogo Island Arts is dedicated to the belief that artists are visionaries with a unique capacity to reveal and respond to the complexities of our time. 

Guests are welcome to visit the Fogo Island Gallery at all times throughout their stay.
