The Shed

Sheds are an integral part of Newfoundland’s outport culture. While some store fishing gear and tools, others harbour the heart of a community. On Fogo Island, sheds are where we gather, entertain, share a meal and socialize. Inspired by that spirit, The Shed at Fogo Island Inn invites you to a laid-back dining experience that’s our own version of a shed party.

A long, communal table dominates the warm interior of The Shed. It welcomes guests to sit side by side and share two of our favourite things: food and stories. The menu here offers a family-style, casual alternative to supper in our Dining Room.
