Trout Fishing
Go trout fishing in one of the deep freshwater ponds scattered across Fogo Island.
Brook trout angling is a popular pastime for the fishers of Newfoundland and Labrador. On Fogo Island, we take to the vast ponds hidden amidst a rocky sprawl or shrouded by dense forests. Catch brook trout in summer or try your hand at ice-fishing when the ponds freeze in winter.
