Beach Walking
We might not have tropical weather, but there are beaches on Fogo Island.
Walk along the shore, look for wishing stones, shells, and driftwood, and listen to the wild orchestra of the North Atlantic. Sandy Cove is a sprawling, sandy beach in the community of Tilting where Turpin’s Trail begins. The rocky beaches of Oliver’s Cove in Tilting and Simms’ Beach in Fogo are favoured by visitors and Fogo Islanders alike.
Combine Beach Walking with Hiking, Foraging, or Cold Plunge.
