Like all things made on Fogo Island, Fogo Island Inn is the product of a culture of care and craft.
Most of the furniture pieces and textiles throughout the Inn are made by our sister business Fogo Island Workshops, right here on the island, and are available for purchase through their Fogo Island Inn at Home Collection.
This collection encompasses all the creature comforts that make our guest rooms a refuge: from the mattress and the responsibly sourced linen sheets and robes to the cozy handmade textiles and furniture pieces such as the Punt Chair, Writing Desk, and Puppy Table, and everything in between.
When you take a piece of Fogo Island home with you, you are directly supporting the economic and cultural resilience of our island. Like the Inn, Fogo Island Workshops is a community business under Shorefast and all operating surpluses are reinvested back into the charity for further community economic development.
