As Berry Season comes to a close, Fogo Islanders focus energies on canning and preserving in preparation for the colder months. Mona Brown, local nature enthusiast and guide, is avid in her field of berry picking, jam jarring, quilt making, punt rowing, and a huge player in the annual Partridgeberry Harvest Festival.
